Céline Shen's "Nexus Design" exhibition embodies the idea of a central starting point, clothing design practices nexus of digital art, performance, poetry, sculpture, art installation, writings, choreography, videos, photos and new technologies in a reconstituted cosmological fiction in the physical and digital realms.  

This approach highlights the interconnectedness of different creative forms, with a primary concept of the garment symbolizing a transcendence between the physical and the celestial, which she called «the aura of the garment» : "The aura is this invisible, intangible imprint that each garment carries within itself." 

Through her work, Céline Shen stems the historical, intimate and fictional life of clothing. She seeks to create an ever-evolving artistic experience where the real and the virtual, human and non-human coexist harmoniously. 

This exhibition showcases a panorama and kaleidoscope of Celine Shen’s ecosystem.

A part of Céline Shen’s works creates an immersive experience for the audience through digital art and clothing design. This fall, her last collaboration with the duo of artist Washmachine "Nebula" within the project « Cyber Flânerie » an augmented reality artistic parkour and an augmented reality art installation entitled « Cosmo Game », both were displayed in the historical Tuileries Garden in Paris. 

In the exhibition, "Interactions" turns into a channel of direct connection between the audience and the digital artwork. You may also play with bags here, see clothes in the mountains and put « Tetris » garment pieces together in space. Céline Shen's vision of fashion and art encourages the convergence and porosity of various art forms, embracing intermediality. 

The garment is no longer a simple parure for the feminine body, nor a silhouette in representation or crafted to respond to globalized economic dictates, but rather a fragmented, inventive and playful territory, where each singularity is invented through personal explorations and experiments. 

Like an architect of ever-evolving landscapes, she assembles captivating surroundings of mediums and elements. The artist invites us to redefine the wardrobe of the contemporary feminine figure through a poetic space charged with fragments of an intimate and multicultural, sensitive and technical cosmology. 

Winner of the ADAGP "Revelation Design" prize in 2019 a currently incubated at Station F in Paris, Celine Shen’s works are between digital, new technologies, writing, dance, performance and clothing design practices. Also known as the acronym C.S for her digital works, she attempts to tangle a perspective where the machine connecting virtual "net-worlds", enhance invisible dimensions, auras through video, animation, performance, audiovisual, VR, AR, AI uses of machines displaying a reconstituted cosmology crossing interstellar fictions. She encompasses « Imaginal» vision to develop an artwork constantly in progress. 

For the 7th edition of Digital November, the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong & Macau supported by the Institut Français which shades light on French Digital creation, co-organized with Art Prince Advisory, the 3 days long Fashion Tech exhibition "Nexus Design"  at Cyberport in Hong Kong displaying French multidisciplinary artist Céline Shen's phygital art and clothing design work.
